Year-end library information

The library will be open until 15st of July - the end of the spring semester of 2023. Until then, it is possible to borrow and to use the reading room. During the Summer Closure, the library's reading rooms and rental rooms will be closed.

Outside opening hours, the library's online resources are available without interruption.

Our online resources only work in the university IP range. Full-text access to the databases subscribed to by ELTE are provided remotely via  VPN and ELTE IIG ID.

Information for final exam students

Students taking the final exam in the spring semester of 2023 had to return the borrowed books to the library by 15th of June 2023 at the latest. If this has not happened yet, please do so!

Information for non-final exam students

Borrowed books must be returned by 15st of July 2023.

If you want books for your dissertation topic or other work for the summer, you can borrow the compiled literature material from the library during the last opening week. Please email us your book requests so we can prepare them!

The planned opening of the library will be at 10:00 on 11th of September 2023, in accordance with the order of the 2023/24 school year.
