Information
The ELTE PPK Library supports students’ and lecturers’ work with library-use training sessions. The librarians help users in the orientation within the world of scientific sources, presenting the methodology of finding reliable and relevant literature, the international thematic and multidisciplinary catalogues, databases, repositories, and other collections. We are also helping to make a systematic organization for the professionally collected scientific literature, and to generate bibliographies of your own literature database, and to make in-text citation from this list. The systematic source management is useful when preparing essays, projects, as well as during the process of writing a thesis or compiling a portfolio. We are going to welcome those who do not wish to start this journey alone, and also those who have questions which emerged along the way.
We offer two diffent ways of trainigs:
1. For groups: lecturers may request training for their student groups contacting the Head Librarian Andrea Varga
Upon prior agreement, it is also possible to request individual topics related to the course and the group in connection with the services provided by the library, subscribed databases, MTMT, etc.
2. For individuals: we are organizing trainigs which can be attended by students.
Our current courses:
The courses are held by librarians Katalin Schiller and Erika Kapus. We are kindly ask you, in case you are not able to go to the training you signed up, please, inform the trainers via email.
