Research Group on Personality, Health and Emotion Regulation
The main aim of our research is to examine the personality traits, emotional processing and emotion regulation processes that play an important role in adjustment and shape physical and mental functioning and overall health. In our research, we mainly focus on transdiagnostic intrapersonal characteristics (such as rumination, experiential avoidance, impulsivity), which are not only related to mental but also to somatic health, and have great importance in various behavioural problems (e.g. antisocial behaviour).
